WWE Hall Of Famer Edge is undoubtedly one of the mainstays of WWE television and an instant fan-favorite for many. He has competed against the best of the best the company has to offer as well.

Edge is set to square off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, as the two have been engaged in a feud since before WrestleMania 37.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, the WWE Hall Of Famer talked about what it would mean to him if he won the WWE Universal Championship. Edge stated that it would be a nice cherry on top of his resume.

“Yeah, it came around after I was gone, so the idea of winning it was never in the cards. So, yeah, it would absolutely be special. I look at the resume, that would be a nice cherry on top. Again, the fact that I’m doing this Kayla, that for me, like I get lost for words sometimes when I stop and try and think about it because it’s really overwhelming that I’m back in here doing so. And at times, as cliched as it sounds, I gotta pinch myself.”

Roman Reigns has been a very dominant champion and there is no doubt that it will be an incredibly difficult challenge for Edge as he is set to face Reigns at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on July 18th. We will have to wait and see if Edge will be able to win the match or not.
