Ever since Matt Riddle signed with WWE, he has been one of the mainstays of WWE television, be it in NXT or the main roster. His in-ring skills are one of the best in the company and he already has a good fan following.
Matt Riddle’s character has certainly gotten over with fans thanks to his comedic timing and generally cool attitude while still being that of a stoner character.
For the past few months Matt Riddle has been teaming up with Randy Orton as Team RK-Bro and it has certainly been a hit with fans. However, Randy Orton has not been seen on Monday Night RAW which has caused Riddle to worry about his tag team partner.
Randy Orton’s current theme, “Voices” ft. Rev Theory, was created by former WWE composer Jim Johnston and has been used by Orton since 2008.
While speaking to Sky Sports, Riddle said he is looking forward to singing Orton’s theme once live audiences make their return. Riddle also revealed Randy Orton’s reaction to him singing Orton’s theme song wrong.
I’m more excited for my entrance with Randy when it finally happens. I’m hoping all the fans sing Randy’s song with me, like, ‘I hear voices in my head!’ I’ll be honest, I’m really bad at memorizing words to songs, so there was actually a time when I was singing Randy’s song but they weren’t actually the real words.
Randy’s like, ‘What are you singing?’ I’m like, ‘What?’ He’s like, ‘Those aren’t the words.’ So I had to go back, watch it on YouTube a couple times with the subtitles audio, and I got it.”
We will have to wait and see if Matt Riddle will start singing Orton’s theme song when live crowds make their return this month.
