Britt Baker made her debut in AEW back in 2019 and since then she has improved significantly, both as a character and also her in-ring skills and that has helped elevate her in the AEW women’s division.

Britt Baker has become one of the mainstays of AEW television and touted as the face of the division and is now the AEW Women’s Champion as well. She possesses quite a few characteristics that have been the recipe for success in her career.

While speaking on Vickie Guerrero’s Excuse Me! podcast, Impact Wrestling’s EVP Scott D’Amore claimed that he was cornered by Britt Baker as she demanded a match against Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo.

“That’s a great question and look, I get it tweeted out at me and everything all the time. All I can say is, from our perspective — look, I got cornered by Britt Baker down in Jacksonville a few weeks ago and she’s like, ‘When do I get Deonna?’ I said, “Hey, Britt oh, come on. We’ve always said we have an open-door policy and we’re open to doing it. you know the deal in wrestling sometimes there’s a lot of hurdles to jump through but I think the relationship with AEW has been fantastic.”
