Drew McIntyre Blames Matt Riddle’s Incense For Telling ‘Crazy Stories’ In His Promos

Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion.

Drew McIntyre was released from WWE back in 2014 and made a name for himself in the independent circuit before returning to the company in 2017.

For quite some time now, Drew McIntyre has been cutting very long and rambling promos. While speaking to TV Insider, McIntyre said that he usually goes to Matt Riddle’s locker room where Riddle burns some sort of incense. After talking to him for a while, McIntyre gets very hungry and then starts telling crazy stories in his promos.

“It comes down to the fans knowing that I’m a butt-kicker. There is this very straight line. This is showing something that’s a little out there. I tell these crazy stories and go on wild tangents. I am getting to show another side. I’ll joke backstage that I never plan to tell these wild stories. Then I walk into Matt Riddle’s room, and he is burning some sort of incense. I’m chatting with him for 10 minutes, and I walk out, and I’m really hungry, and I have these crazy stories coming out. I don’t know why.”

Drew McIntyre is set to be in the Money In The Bank ladder match this year after earning the opportunity on Monday Night RAW. We will have to see if Drew McIntyre will be able to win the match or not on July 18.
