The Nexus had one of the most impactful debuts in WWE history. They had a lot of momentum in the beginning but ultimately got derailed after many booking failures and being completely buried by John Cena back at SummerSlam 2010.
The faction was unlike anything WWE had seen at that point in time, even though it turned out to be wasted potential in the end. Back in May, former WWE Superstar Darren Young revealed the company was working on a documentary on the faction called WWE Untold: The Nexus.
The company even promoted the documentary in a commercial in the past. However, now it seems the documentary might not be releasing at all.
According to a report by PWInsider, there has been no additional work done on the documentary. It was said that the episode is on the shelf and joins other projects that have also been shelved.
PWInsider.com is told, however, that the planned WWE Untold: The Nexus documentary is currently shelved and there’s no additional work currently being done on it. There were other projects planned but now paused and some other content is starting to be worked on again.
The majority of the Nexus members have all left WWE to go elsewhere and now it seems many fans will never get to see the documentary featuring the faction.
