For the past few, WWE has been releasing several employees including WWE Superstars, beginning with the release of Superstars such as Chelsea Green and Mickie James in April.

Last month, WWE held yet another round of cuts from the company and it included several big names. Among them include the likes of Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Buddy Murphy talked about his time working in WWE. Murphy stated that he really wanted to join 205 Live and had to go through a lot of hurdles to get it done. Murphy claimed that he was shouted at and even kicked out of meetings for expressing his desire to join 205 Live.

“I wanted to go to the cruiserweights for a super long time. I was yelled at, I was kicked out of meetings for mentioning it. And then I ended up reaching out to Adam Pearce secretly via Twitter. I said, ‘Hey, man, I see you’re doing this tournament. (I) Don’t know if all the spots are finished, filled, but I’d love to throw my name in the hat. Weight’s not an issue. And I just sent it to him. And I’d already been yelled at, kicked out of meetings because of this cruiserweight stuff.”

Buddy Murphy is already working very hard after his WWE release last month and certainly has a lot of choice as to which pro wrestling company he will call his home next. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Buddy Murphy.
