WWE is adding some new faces to the main roster, and they aren’t stopping after this week. There could be a reason for that decision and a lack of interest from fans might be the root of the problem.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about WWE calling up so many NXT Superstars at once. Shotzi & Nox made their debuts on the blue brand and Toni Storm is on her way again. It was stated that these call-ups might be a result of Vince McMahon’s frustrations after WWE put tickets for their return to touring on sale.

“You know when those first round of house show advances came out I know, I mean that’s the one thing with Vince is that he’s going to be pissed, and everyone is like, ‘oh the advances are so great, blah, blah, blah, blah,’ It’s like, I knew Vince was going to be pissed, and what does Vince do when he’s pissed? He wants to bring a whole bunch of people up, so you got Kross, Bronson Reed, Scarlett (maybe), now you’ve got these two [Shotzi & Noz].”

They used to have an agreement between WWE and NXT where they wouldn’t call up any stars without notice. That would give the black and gold brand a chance to figure out what they are doing with storylines. This deal is obviously no longer a factor since WWE called Tegan Nox to SmackDown days after she made her big return at NXT’s Great American Bash.
