Chris Jericho is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he has competed all over the world in various promotions, including WWE. He has competed for over three decades and has worked with the best of the best in the pro wrestling world.

Chris Jericho would often be called ‘Y2J’ during his time in WWE and he embraced that nickname for years. Jericho is the master of reinvention and has done it several times in his career.

On this past week’s episode of AEW Road Rager, Chris Jericho was seemingly upset at the crowd chanting ‘Y2J’ at him. One fan recently took to Twitter and asked him why he was upset.

Hey @IAmJericho. Serious question. Why’d you get so upset when the fans chanted “Y2J” at you? Aren’t they just chanting your nickname back at you?”

Jericho saw the fan’s tweet and decided to give a prompt reply as he stated that the ‘Y2J’ nickname and character are from 15 years ago and don’t exist within him anymore.

“It’s a nickname & and a character from 15 years ago from another time, another place and another mindset. He doesn’t exist within me anymore.”

Chris Jericho is currently engaged in a bitter feud with MJF on AEW and he will have to adhere to MJF’s stipulations if Jericho wants another match against MJF. We will have to wait and see how their feud will progress.
