Why Jimmy Uso Replaced Jey Uso On WWE SmackDown Last Week

Roman Reigns’ cousins, The Usos, are a huge part of his WWE storyline. Right now Jimmy’s situation is up in the air, but he has received a huge focus in recent memory. Last week Jimmy even filled in for his twin brother on SmackDown, but there was a reason for that.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jey Uso was not off television because of an injury. He was simply given that time off and Jimmy was moved over that week to cover for him in the storyline.

The situation with Jey Uso off Smackdown and Jimmy essentially doing the Jey role with the idea Jey just went home is all part of the storyline and not a cover for an injury

We will have to see what happens during SmackDown tonight. It could be a very interesting episode, because we might get a better idea about what is going to happen with Jimmy Uso following his recent DUI arrest. That is never a good situation to be in and now WWE must make a decision.

Ringside News exclusively reported that as of yesterday at 3:00 PM EST, no decision had been handed down by Vince McMahon regarding what they are going to do with Jimmy Uso’s situation.
