Aleister Black Says His AEW Debut Was One Of The Top 3 Moments Of His Career

Aleister Black had a great run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship and was a mainstay of the black and gold brand after debuting there in 2017.

In comparison, his main roster run left a lot to be desired and after a lot of shoddy booking decisions, Aleister Black was ultimately let go by the company back in June of this year.

Due to a clerical error on WWE’s part, Aleister Black was able to debut in AEW just over a month since his release. Aleister Black shocked fans and pro wrestlers alike when he debuted on this week’s AEW Road Rager and came to be known as Malakai Black.

Malakai Black attacked both Cody Rhodes and Arn Anderson, laying them out with his Black Mass finishing move. All in all, it was a very memorable debut and it seems Black thinks so as well.

While speaking on a Twitch stream, Malakai Black said that his AEW debut was unforgettable and it was in his top three favorite moments of his pro wrestling career so far.

“Last night was top three one of my favorite moments of my career. I slept for three hours because my adrenaline was so high. It was the cumulation of months and months and months and having this big payoff was worth the pain, chaos, and perseverance.”

Malakai Black made a huge impact in his AEW debut and we will have to see whether he will thrive in the company or not.
