Terry Funk Is Doing Much Better Than Previously Reported

Terry Funk is a treasure in the pro wrestling community and tons of pro wrestling fans were very worried about The Funker recently. Don Muraco revealed on his podcast that Funk is in an assisted living home suffering from dementia. Tommy Dreamer has an update and it’s the kind of news we were wanting.

According to the Innovator of Violence, Terry Funk is doing much better than previously feared. In fact, Funk loves the extra attention he’s getting.

Dreamer said that he just had a conversation with the Hardcore Legend. Funk is in an assisted living facility, but it sounds like his spirits are up, even if he can’t remember the words to Dixie while he keeps a thumb up his ass.

We’re sending Terry Funk the best during this time. There was an absolute outpouring of support and concern when it was revealed that he wasn’t doing too well. Thankfully, this latest report gave us a much more positive update.

Just because Terry Funk is doing better than some thought doesn’t mean the love and well wishes should stop. He obviously appreciates all of the positivity coming his way. We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
