The New Day are known for their gear and MVP recently called it “trash.” He also threw some serious shade at their sneaker game in the process. Kofi Kingston wouldn’t let that slide.

MVP is set for his in-ring return this week on RAW. This will see him team with Bobby Lashley to take on The New Day. Kofi Kingston heard the remark that MVP threw out about their gear being trash. He provided photographic evidence of their comic book inspired gear and said, “I liked these… “video game costumes” too. Log off.”

“You and your stupid yes men too stupid to know the difference between legendary ANTI heroes and lame ass video games. No surprise at all,” MVP fired back at Kingston.

Then the former WWE Champion brought some history into things. While posting a photo of the Hurt Business doing the Wakanda salute and a quote of Bobby Lashley saying, “I’m the Black Superman, and that World Title is what I need,” Kofi had a couple of burning questions for MVP.

Oh…2 questions then: 1) Which “legendary ANTI hero” was @fightbobby comparing himself to in this quote?

2) Since Killmonger never did the Wakanda salute, which “legendary ANTI hero” were you imitating with your Wakanda salute here?

Just Log off…before it’s too late…

We’ll have to see how things play out this week on WWE RAW. The two teams have a featured rivalry as they head toward Money in the Bank. That is where Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Title against Kofi Kingston and everyone will see who is standing tall in the end.

This back and forth between The New Day and MVP is exactly the kind of thing that we need to see more of.
