Batista is undoubtedly one of the most popular pro wrestlers to have ever graced the pro wrestling world. He was the top Superstar in the company for many years and competed against the best of the best the company had to offer.

Early on in his career, Batista has been known to have engaged in legitimate brawls and it seems one of those instances involved a legitimate brawl with kickboxers during an overseas tour.

While speaking to James Romero of Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Mike Chioda talked about the incident which took place in 2005, where WWE stayed at the same hotel as a group of kickboxers in Manchester, England.

A fight broke out not long after WWE’s bus arrived at the hotel, with Batista and Chris Benoit being involved in it.

“Somebody said something to somebody and they cleared away, and the next thing you know a big fight broke out. Everybody was running off the bus, we were all fighting, dudes just throwing around, and it was a good old time there. It was Batista in that brawl, Benoit was in that brawl. Everybody, everybody was just all over the place because it was a good amount of guys. It was about 20-something guys [kickboxers] and there was about 20-something of us.”

Back in the day brawls such as this were commonplace. Batista ended his in-ring career back in 2019 after WrestleMania 35 and since then has focused on his busy career in Hollywood.
