Chris Jericho Says He & Paul Wight Had The Chemistry Of An ‘Old Married Couple’

Chris Jericho is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he has competed all over the world in various promotions, including WWE. He has competed for over three decades and has worked with the best of the best in the pro wrestling world.

During his time as a professional wrestler, Chris Jericho has been a part of numerous tag teams over the course of his career.

While speaking on Gresh and Keefe, Chris Jericho was asked who his favorite tag partner was. Jericho immediately said Paul Wight and then stated that he and Wight had the chemistry of an old married couple.

“My favorite tag team partner of all-time — and you can see that in The Complete List of Jericho, I have my top ten tag team partners, etc — is always the Big Show. We had a great time together, we were like an old married couple and argue with each other. It was like, ‘I can’t find my glasses,’ ‘Your glasses are on top of your head! Put them on so you can see,’ ‘Don’t tell me what to do!’ Great chemistry and just a great guy.”

Paul Wight had previously shown interest in teaming up with Chris Jericho again in AEW. We certainly wonder if that will happen once Chris Jericho’s feud with MJF comes to an end.
