The Young Bucks have solidified themselves as one of the best tag teams in the pro wrestling world for several years now. They are also the AEW Tag Team Champions and have been engaged in a feud with Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero.
On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero faced off against The Young Bucks with the condition that if they were able to beat the Young Bucks, then they would get a shot at their titles.
After a hard-fought match, Kingstn and Penta were able to defeat The Young Bucks and earned an AEW Tag Team Title shot for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Road Rager. Now it seems AEW President Tony Khan added a special stipulation for the match as the match will now be a street fight.
AEW GM @TonyKhan has just declared that the World Tag Team Title match at #RoadRager THIS Wednesday in Miami will be a STREET FIGHT! It promises to be an epic title fight Wednesday on #AEWDynamite@PENTAELZEROM+@MadKing1981 vs. @youngbucks at 8/7c on TNT!
With the company set to get back on the road on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, there is no doubt the show will be a success.
Here is the updated card for the show:
Young Bucks vs Penta & Eddie Kingston – Street Fight
Cody vs QT Marshall – South Beach Strap Match
Andrade El Idolo vs Matt Sydal
