The Bollywood Boyz were released from their WWE contracts recently and the 205 Live roster will surely miss them. Randy Orton also sent out a very encouraging message following their release, but that wasn’t the first time he had their back.
Riju Dasgupta recently spoke to the Singh Brothers following their WWE releases. They spoke about Randy Orton and how he was always very welcoming to them. He also went to bat for them on a couple occasions, even pushing to make sure that the Punjabi Prison match included that sick fall as Gurv Sihra revealed.
“Yeah, we made sure, especially with Randy, who was so giving to us and so helpful. You know, whatever ideas we had, he went to the higher-ups and made sure that they came to life. Even like, my brother’s fall off the Punjabi Prison. You know, we pitched it, but Randy is at the top of the totem pole, and he would tell us, ‘Hey, okay, I’m going to go talk to the higher-ups and make sure it happens. And sure enough, that’s something people still talk about, the table bump, the falls, and like. A lot of it was pitched to Randy, and Randy gave us his blessing and made sure it happened. So, we are very thankful for that.”
The Singh Brothers are not finished tearing up the pro wresting world and the two have a lot to offer. The former associates of Jinder Mahal also know what it’s like to be in main event situations, and they picked up a ton of knowledge during that time as well.
Odds are people will see them again soon as soon as their WWE non-compete clauses are over. That won’t change the respect they gained from Randy Orton at all.
