Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.

Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as he made his debut in AEW last month after being introduced by Vickie Guerrero.

While he has faced quite a few top Superstars during his time in WWE, it seems Andrade El Idolo still had one particular Superstar he really wanted to face. While speaking to Lucha Libre Online, Andrade El Idolo revealed that he would have loved to face Triple H in a singles match, but it simply didn’t happen.

“I would have liked to wrestle against Triple H in WWE. I would have loved to wrestle him in a one-on-one match, but it was not materialized. Things did not go our way, but I would have loved wrestling against Triple H.”

Andrade had also previously mentioned his desire to reform Los Ingobernables with his fiancee Charlotte Flair as well. He is scheduled to square off against Matt Sydal on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in his in-ring debut. We will have to see how he will perform in the match.
