Lana Claims WWE Made Her ‘Take The Blame’ For Leaked Engagement Photo With Miro

For the past couple of months, WWE has been releasing several employees including WWE Superstars, beginning with the release of Superstars such as Chelsea Green and Mickie James.

Last month, WWE held yet another round of cuts from the company and it featured several big names such as Braun Strowman, Aleister Black and Lana. She was let go due to her lucrative contract with WWE, which Lana signed back in 2019.

For the majority of her time in WWE, Lana had been managing her real life husband, Miro. While speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Lana claimed that she was immediately removed from televisionfor three months after a photo of her and Miro getting engaged was leaked to TMZ.

I didn’t even put up a picture, I just sent it to my friends. And then I guess someone leaked it. I never, ever put it up. TMZ got a hold of it. Basically TMZ said we were engaged and so the story got cut and we got blamed for it. Personally, I got blamed. It’s insane.

Miro is currently the TNT Champion in AEW and having a solid run there. We will have to see whether Lana will be making her way to AEW as well.
