Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.
Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as he made his debut in AEW last month after being introduced by Vickie Guerrero.
Now it seems Andrade El Idolo has a very interesting idea in mind for a group. While speaking with Hugo Savinovich of Lucha Libre Online, Andrade was pitched working with Charlotte, Ric Flair, and Shinsuke Nakamura as part of Los Ingobernables.
“It’s a wonderful pitch. Nakamura is a great talent, so are RUSH and Charlotte. I have never been with my fiancé (Charlotte) on TV, so it would be a dream to be with her, whether that be in this faction or not. I also have never been on TV with Ric, who is always a great person with me, so it would be very cool to make a faction with my friend, RUSH, with my fiancé and my father-in-law, and with Nakamura, who has treated me well since Japan and is always a great person. This group would be wonderful, and I think we would make history. I hope this dream becomes a reality in a not-so-distant future.”
We certainly wonder if Andrade El Idolo will ever get his wish to work with Charlotte Flair in the future. At this point in time it seems highly unlikely, but anything is possible in the pro wrestling world.
