AEW Dynamite brought a big show to Daily’s Place for their final edition of “WWE Dynamite” before going out on tour once again. Penta and Eddied Kingston were able to beat the Young Bucks and earn a title shot, but that match didn’t include all of the stars’ moves.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the situation with Penta and Kingston vs The Young Bucks. He made note that Penta did not do a destroyer move when it is in his move set practically every match. It is interesting that the move wasn’t in the match, because Sammy Guevara used it in a big way during the main event.

“What I found interesting is that Penta did not do a Canadian Destroyer in this match and he does it in every fricken match. I’m guessing the reason is, and nobody has told me this, but Sammy Guevara did it in the main event and there actually was communication like, ‘no we’re doing it in the main event.'”

It’s better to save big moves for the main event to make it mean more. If fans see a big move multiple times in a show then it can lose its meaning. MJF took a Canadian Destroyer and it was called a “Cuban Destroyer” by Chris Jericho on commentary. That was quite a main event match and the Cuban Destroyer was a big highlight.
