As seen on this week’s episode of NXT, Bronson Reed defended his NXT North American Championship against Isaiah “Swerve” Scott in the main event of the night.

Despite putting up a valiant effort and giving it his best, Bronson Reed was simply unable to win the match after Scott’s Hit Row group interfered in the match, ultimately costing Reed the match and his title.

Thus Isaiah “Swerve” Scott became the new NXT North American Champions. After the conclusion of the match, Bronson Reed took to Twitter and apologized to everyone who supported him, saying that he failed them all.

“My fans, my friends, my family. My wife. I failed you. I’m sorry. Now what?@WWENXT”

We will have to see what is next in store for Bronson Reed. Perhaps this might be an indication of his eventual main roster call up.
