Why Damian Priest Was Off WWE RAW For So Long

Damian Priest was off WWE television for a few weeks, but he re-appeared this week on RAW. There was a concern that he was dealing with an injury, but he seemed to be able to get right back into the swing of things this week.

During RAW this week, Priest nearly won the battle royal to get a spot in the last chance triple threat match. That was a good spot for him to be in and he even appeared in another segment backstage where he talked to Riddle about Burger King.

According to PW Insider, Damian Priest wasn’t injured. He was out of action due to personal reasons. Those reasons were not disclosed.

Damian Priest returned to Raw last night.  We are told he had been off TV dealing with some personal matters.

Now that Damian Priest is back to action it seems like he’ll pick up where he left off. Priest was unable to snag a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match, but there will be plenty of other opportunities for the former NXT North American Champion.
