Unused Brodie Lee Storyline Revealed By Colt Cabana

Brodie Lee tragically passed away far too soon. There were many things left for him to accomplish and hundreds of matches left to wrestle. He is truly missed as AEW carries on while honoring him along the way.

The Dark Order is also still a force in AEW as the entire stable changed to babyfaces after Lee’s passing. Colt Cabana’s entry into the Dark Order was an interesting storyline and there was more left to that story as well.

Colt Cabana recently spoke to Fightful Select where they noted that Colt Cabana told them that there were plans to circle back around and feud with Mr. Brodie Lee. He pitched the idea after Lee wrestled Moxley for the World Title, but they were sadly never able to see it happen.

According to Cabana, there were plans for he and Brodie Lee to circle back and eventually feud down the line.

Colt Cabana said that they also drew up a manuscript for the program. It seemed like this was a plan that was going to happen. We can only imagine how that angle would have ended, but Cabana did not reveal the planned finish for everything.

Cabana is still a member of the Dark Order, and there doesn’t seem to be a plan at this point to end his association with the stable of former heels. They will continue in the Exalted One’s memory as well.
