Triple H didn’t let Samoa Joe go very long after he received his WWE release to call him with a job offer. Joe accepted Triple H’s offer and he eventually started on NXT television as an enforcer, but that will not be his only role in the company.

While talking to Out Of Character, Samoa Joe revealed that WWE has him as a talent scout now. He will help find unseen talent and bring them to the company. He will also be doing “a few administrative things here and there” for the black and gold brand.

“It wasn’t just about coming back to NXT and being an enforcer and having a role on the show. I’m working in the Talent Scouting department, a few more administrative things here and there behind the scenes, it’s a little bit of a transition for me too into some of the other aspects of the business of WWE.”

“It was a really great, cool opportunity that Hunter offered me and I’m still a performer within the confines of WWE.”

Samoa Joe certainly has an eye for talent. He could help bring in some real heavy-hitters as well. Joe has friendships all over the pro wrestling world and getting a call from the Samoan Submission Machine might do a lot to help any negotiation process along as well.
