WWE has been releasing quite a few Superstars and members of staff since April of this year and fans were worried that the cuts will continue. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened yet again.

The company recently released 14 Superstars from NXT and 205 Live and that included one of the mainstays of 205 Live, Tony Nese. Nese already commented on his release, stating that he can’t wait to work elsewhere.

After the latest slew of releases, Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown on-screen official Adam Pearce took to Twitter and sent out a tweet in support of the released WWE Superstars. Tony Nese replied to the tweet and stated that he believed Adam Pearce hated him at first.

This man right here was the godfather of 205. One of the few that fought for us and pushed us to work hard every day no matter the circumstances. I’m pretty sure he hated me at first but I think we’re cool now.

Tony Nese is undoubtedly an incredibly talented pro wrestler and will be a great asset to whichever pro wrestling company he calls his home next. We will have to see what is next in store for him.
