CM Punk is still considered as one of the all-time greats in the modern pro wrestling era, as he had a huge fan following during his time as an active in-ring competitor in WWE.
CM Punk has competed against the best of the best throughout his career in pro wrestling. On June 27, 2011, CM Punk cut one of the greatest promos in the history of professional wrestling, one which is still talked about to this day.
On the 10-year anniversary of the infamous pipebomb promo, CM Punk retweeted ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s original reaction to his promo. Austin said that the promo was “scorching hot” and one of the best he has ever seen.
@CMPunk just melted my 52 inch TV with a scorching hot promo…delivery, content, and attitude…one of the best promos I’ve ever seen.
The promo will forever stand the test of time and it will remain an important part of pro wrestling history. CM Punk has not competed inside the squared circle since his departure from WWE back in 2014 and it is not known whether he will ever be back to the pro wrestling world at this point in time.
