Scarlett Likely Set To Wrestle On WWE Main Roster

WWE has their eye on a few additions to the main roster from NXT. The upcoming WWE Draft will take place on August 30th and September 3rd and Shotzi Blackheart will likely be a part of the sitaution.

According to PW Insider, both Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett received main roster tryouts this week before SmackDown. Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed received tryout matches last week and then they appeared on Main Event.

This week’s SmackDown saw Kross work another dark match, this time against Slapjack of Retribution. We haven’t seen Slapjack on WWE television since Retribution’s split. Scarlett also wrestled in a match against Shotzi Blackheart.

It was assumed that Scarlett would get a good look for a main roster call-up since Karrion Kross was getting tryouts. He appeared on Main Event without her and that caused some fans to question WWE’s intentions. Shotzi Blackheart seems to be very close to getting a main roster call-up as well.

Scarlett and Shotzi Blackheart will also likely be backstage at RAW next week. They will presumably get a match on Main Event. As of this writing it is not known who they will be wrestling.

It is notable that Scarlett is wrestling now, because she hasn’t been utilized in that way on NXT. She is a talented performer in the ring and can hold her own in a match. She demonstrated that while traveling around the world taking bumps. Now she might get a chance to wrestle on a much larger stage.
