The Bollywood Boyz were fired from their WWE contracts this week and those were two big losses to take. Sunil and Samir Singh gave their all to WWE during their run, achieving a great run in the main event as they managed Jinder Mahal as WWE Champion. Now they are soon to be looking for indie dates, and Mick Foley has their back.
Dewey Foley, Mick’s son, is a key creative force behind the WWE 205 Live brand. He knows the Singh Brothers well, and his father obviously knows their work as well.
Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy tweeted out a glowing recommendation for any indie booker to bring in the Singh Brothers. He also expressed sympathy about the fact that they were let go.
If you are a promoter, you need @BollywoodBoyz on your show!
I’m sorry to learn they’d been let go, but Gurv & Harv are going to make every show they’re on – anywhere in the world – a better show for having them.
Wishing both of you the very best!
Odds are the Bollywood Boyz will see their schedule fill up fast once their 90-day non-compete clauses are up. In the meantime, they will continue making their downside guarantees while preparing for life outside of WWE.
The Singh Brothers spent a majority of 2020 in Canada due to the pandemic. They were not let go until after the two were able to come back and re-establish themselves on the 205 Live brand. WWE President Nick Khan called for releases and over a dozen Superstars were axed by the end of the business day.
What’s your take on the Bollywood Boyz on the indies? Should AEW or Impact Wrestling give them a try? Sound off in the comments!
