WWE is always looking for the right fit on their rosters and a recent tryout caused one champion to vacate her title. Jamie Hayter was the Undisputed British Women’s Champion for REV Pro, but she had to drop that title.

Hayter relinquished her title following a WWE tryout according to PW Insider. It was not noted how well her tryout went, but the fact she dropped her title is a sign it didn’t go poorly.

Now Zoe Lucas and Gisele Shaw will battle on July 4th at the London Cockpit event to crown a new Undisputed British Women’s Champion for REV Pro. Hayter actually defeated Shaw for that title on February 7th.

Jamie Hayter is not the only one receiving a tryout. It is reported that Skye Smitson from the REV Pro women’s division locked a tryout down as well.

Hayter was with AEW for a short time. She was unable to make it back during the pandemic to work the AEW television tapings. We’ll have to see if Hayter signs with WWE, but the fact she relinquished her title is a sign in that direction.
