The final episode of AEW Dynamite this month will be taking place on June 30th and will be a return to the regular slot on Wednesday. The company is trying to ensure the show will satisfy fans and now it seems a huge match has been added to the already-stacked card.
The company took to Twitter and officially announced that AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks will be squaring off against Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo in a non-title match.
They also added a stipulation to the match that if Kingston and Penta win the match, they will be getting a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Just signed by @TonyKhan for #AEWDynamite’s return to LIVE Wednesdays, THIS WED June 30 on TNT, #AEW Tag Team Champions @YoungBucks vs. @MadKing1981 + @PENTAELZEROM! If Eddie/Penta win, they earn a Tag Team Title shot! We’ll hear from each team tomorrow on #SaturdayNightDynamite!
Both teams will be appearing on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in order to promote their Jun 30th match as well. We will have to see if Kingston and Penta will be able to win the match or not.
Here is the updated card for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite:
* AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo. Kingston and Penta will earn a future title shot if they win
* Rebel and AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero
