AEW Saturday Night Dynamite Results for June 26, 2021

Earlier today, Sammy Guevara is shown entering the building, Spears attacks him from behind with a chair shot. Spears wishes Guevara luck for his match next week with MJF.

Powerhouse Hobbs is the first man out for our first match of the evening. Hangman Page is out next, Page is taken aback by the huge reaction of the crowd.

Hangman Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

Both men circle each other, Page gets a headlock, Hobbs hits a shoulder tackle. Hobbs catches Page and drives him into the corner. Shoulders to the ribs in the corner, Page reverse and hits right hands. Page hits several clothesline by Hobbs doesnt go down. Page attempts the buckshot but Hobbs rolls out of the ring.

Hobbs hits a clothesline on the outside. Hobbs smashes Pages arm into the barricade. Hobbs traps Page’s arm in the barricade. In the ring, both men trade hands, Hobbs continues to work the arm, suplex from Hobbs. Hobbs goes for a Vader bomb but Page gets the feet up, Hobbs drives Page into the ring post. On the outside, Page pushes Hobbs face first into the ring post. Page has been busted open, high boot to Hobbs, and another boot, another boot, Hobbs shrugs them off Page hits a springboard lariat. Page with a dive over the top rope onto Hobbs.

Page hits a moonsault, 2 count. Hobbs hits a huge clothesline, stomps, body slam, misses a diving headbutt. Page with a huge lariat, 2 count. Hobbs with a a crossbody, 2 count. Hook and Ricky Starks runs down, Starks hands Hobbs the FTW Title, Cage runs down and chases off Starks and Hook, Page goes for the Buckshot but Hobbs reverses into a spinebuster. Page with a rolling elbow strike, Hobbs misses a crossbody, Page with a deadlift German, hits the Deadeye for the victory.

Page celebrates with a beer and we get a video package for tonight’s World Championship main event.

The Bucks are backstage with Cutler, Matt says they are the longest reigning tag champions, we don’t only beat ya, we hurt ya. They run down all the people they have beaten, they are EVPs, extremely violent people.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring with Tully Blanchard. Tony introduces Konan. Tully says the last time he saw Konan he interfered in the Stadium Stampede, but he lets Konan go first. Konan says he wont be intimidated and neither will Proud and Powerful. Konan says their teams are not the same. Tully is a mentor but he is a father. Tully says he has done research on Konan, FTR will flatten him and Konan will only get one appearance on AEW. Konan brings out Proud and Powerful, Tully sasy look at the big screen, Santana and Ortiz are shown beaten up backstage. “Proud and Powerful” take off their facemasks and reveal themselves to be FTR. FTR hits the spike Piledriver on Konan.

Dante Martin makes his entrance for our next match. Vickie Guerrero comes out with an “EXCUSE ME”, she introduces Andrade El Idolo. She says tonight they have a huge announcement. Matt Sydal’s music interrupts Vickie and he walks past Andrade and Vickie to the ring much to their annoyance.

Dante Martin vs. Matt Sydal

Sydal gets a headlock, brings Martin to the mat. Martin with a snapmare, into a headlock, Sydal wrings the arm, Martin with a springboard dropkick, 2 count. Martin with a head scissors, elbow strike from Martin, Sydal hits a leg lariat, 2 count. Picture in picture. Sydal with a surfboard, stomps on the legs of Martin. Sydal locks in a leg lock, Sydal with a leg scissors on the outside.

Sydal with an Indian death lock, Sydal hits chops, Martin hits an overhand chop, Martin hits a fireman’s carry slam to get a 2 count. Martin hits a springboard moonsault, 2 count. Sydal with a backfist on the top rope, hits a meteora, 2 count. Martin with a sunset flip, 2 count, flipping stunner, 2 count. Martin jars the leg after a jump from the top rope, Sydal with a superkick, hits the lightning spiral and gets the victory.

Jungle Boys says tonight will be the biggest night of his life. Christian Cage interrupts and says he shouldnt just be happy to be here, he should be pissed off. Cage says Kenny thinks Jungle Boy is a legit contender to the AEW title. Cage says Jungle Boy shocked the world by winning the casino battle royal, tonight he will shock the world again.

Mark Sterling says the #JadeBrand is in full effect. They have made a partnership with AEWshop for an exclusive deal. Carghill says she is undefeated and she is that bitch.

Marvez is backstage with the Pinnacle. MJF says he cant wrap his head around why people are upset at him for attacking Dean Malenko. Malenko shouldn’t be involved in wrestling, they should be thanking him, he gave Malenko and early retirement. Jericho and Hager attack the Pinnacle, a huge brawl through the backstage area. They all wind up on the stage and into the ring. Huge Inner Circle chants and Jericho and Hager attack MJF, Wardlow and Spears. The Pinnacle have the numbers advantage and mange to beat down Jericho and Hager. Spears and MJF try to attacks Jerichos arm with a chair but Sammy Guevara runs down and beats down all three men. Sammy with chair shots to all men and the Pinnacle runs scared. Sammy gets a mic and says this company chose the wrong guy to make action figure, to put on the posters. Sammy says on Wednesday he will show he is the best ever and you know it.

Earlier today, Miro says he wants to thank god for making him powerful and making his hot wife flexible. Pillman Jr may be ranked number 1 but he didn’t respect his champion and next week he will find out why he is gods favourite champion. The bravest thing Pillman ever did was thinking about attacking him, the stupidest was actually doing it.

“The Men of the Year” make their entrance for Ethan Page’s next match. Bear Country are out next.

Ethan Page (with Scorpio Sky) vs. Bear Bronson (with Bear Boulder)

Bronson powers Page to the corner. Page hits a big right hand to little effect. Bronson with body shots in the corner, Bronson with a back elbow, Page stomps on Bronson’s foot, mocks Bronson, Bronson hits a powerslam, 2 count. Bronson drives Page into opposite corners. Page knocked off the apron, Bronson goes for a suicide dive, Sky pushes Page out of the way and takes the bullet. Sky and Page attack Bronson while the refs back is turned. Picture in picture. Page wears down Bronson in the ring with a bearhug, DDT, 2 count. Bronson with body shots, Page with a high kick, shoulder tackle, a second shoulder tackle takes the big man down.

Bronson with right hands, tackle in the corner, clubbing lariat to the front and back, spinebuster, misses a senton. Bronson lands all his weight on Page and gets a 2 count. Page hits a superplex, 2 count. Bronson hits a black hole slam, 2 count. Sky gets up on the apron, Boulder takes him out, Page hits a low blow on Bronson, hits the Ego’s Edge to get the victory.

The Men of the Year celebrate in the ring, Sky gets a mic, Page says Darby Allin isn’t done with him, pinning Darby is not enough for Page, he will be the nail in Darby’s coffin. July 7th, at Road Rager, he challenges Darby to a Coffin Match.

Britt Baker and Rebel are backstage, Baker says she is the face of a whole new era, they done have time for old chicks in the wrestling ring, excuse me for beating your ass next week.

Vickie and Nyla Rose says they are coming for that title on Fyter Fest Night 2, but they should also look out for the claws of a cougar.

The Hardy Family Office music brings out the Bunny, accompanied by the Blade. Kris Statlander is out next, accompanied by Orange Cassidy.

Lock up to start, Bunny driven to the mat. Statlander with an armdrag, Bunny with a huge slap, Statlander with an enziguri, into a bodyslam. Statlander hits a suplex, Statlander boops Bunny in the corner, Bunny hits a superkick in the corner. On the outside, Bunny hits a shotgun dropkick into the barricade. Picture in picture. Bunny hits a running elbow strike in the corner, 2 count. Bunny with strikes on the mat, Statlander fights out, Bunny hits a neckbreaker for a 2 count. Bunny with a kick to the back, Bunny slaps herself in the face, surfboard submission, Statlander fights out, Bunny hits a high knee. Statlander clotheslined out of the ring.

Statlander hits a powerslam on the outside. Strikes back and forth, Statlander hits an uppercut, michinoku driver for a 2 count. Statlander hits a blue thunder bomb for a 2 count. Bunny with a German suplex from the second rope, 2 count. The Blade distracts the ref, Bunny is slipped the brass knuckles, Orange Cassidy intercepts the knuckles, Statlander hits the Big Bang Theory and gets the win.

The Blade attacks Orange Cassidy after the match, TH2 run down to join the beatdown on Orange. The Blade gets the brass knuckles, TH2 hold Orange up and the Blade hits a huge shot on Orange Cassidy with the brass knuckles. the Blade and TH2 stand over Orange Cassidy and celebrate.

Tony Schiavone is with QT Marshall, QT complains that Brock Anderson was named Wrestler of the week and he wasn’t. QT says he hopes Cody gets cast in one of the geeky superhero shows so that he will never have to see him again.

Brian Pillman Jr says Miro has a messiah complex, he has a complex too, he will fight for his friends and on Wednesday night he will check Miro’s ego and beat him for the TNT Championship.

Kingston and Penta are backstage, Kingston says the Buck havent taken out anybody, the only thing they care about are their egos, so they only way they have hurt the Bucks is by taking those titles. “Penta says” next week, we run over the Bucks.

Jungle Boy makes his entrance to a huge reaction from the crowd. Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt accompany Jungle Boy to the ring. The AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is out next accompanied by Don Callis and the Good Brothers. Justin Roberts does the official ring introductions.

Marko Stunt jumps in the ring and the referee immediately bars him from ringside, the ref also makes Luchasaurus and the Good Brothers leave ringside also. Don Callis joins commentary.

AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) (with Don Callis) vs. Jungle Boy

Lock up to start, Jungle Boy powered to the corner. Another lock up, Omega wrings the arm, Jungle Boy flips out, gets an armbar of his own, Jungle Boy taken down by the hair. Omega with shots in the corner, chops, elbow strikes, Jungle Boy turns the tables with strikes of his own. Jungle Boy hit with a abck elbow, Jungle Boy gets an armdrag and a huge dropkick, Omega sent out of the ring. Jungle Boy goes for a dive but Omega ducks under the apron. Omega throws Jungle Boy into the barricade. Picture in picture.

Jungle Boy with a shotgun dropkick into the barricade. Omega hits a side suplex onto the steel stairs, Jungle Boy dumped over the barricade into the front row. Omega with an axe handle, boots in the corner. Omega with a chop, misses a moonsault, Omega counters a senton, hits a backbreaker and gets a 2 count. Omega with chops in the ropes, Jungle Boy gets an inside cradle for a 2 count. Brain buster from Jungle Boy, back elbow, chops to Omega, Jungle Boy with a low dropkick to the knee, back elbows sends Omega out of the ring.

Jungle Boy hits 2 tope suicidas, tornado DDT, Omega rolls out of the ring but Jungle Boy hits another tope suicida! Omega with a superplex from the top rope for a 2 count. Omega misses a V Trigger, but hits a second and a third, snap dragon suplex, another V Trigger. Jungle Boy reverses a One Winged Angel into a reverserana, 2 count. Omega hits another V Trigger, powerbomb, another V Trigger, 2 count. Jungle Boy reverses a V Trigger into the Snaretrap! The Good Brothers run out but Kaz and Jurassic Express intercept, Omega gets to the ropes. Forearms back and forth, Omega hits a V Trigger, Jungle Boy with a clothesline, Omega hits a brain buster, 2 count.

V Trigger in the ropes from Omega, Jungle Boy reverse the One Winged Angel into a pin, 2 count. Jungle Boy locks in another Snaretrap, Omega pulls Jungle Boy’s hair to escape. Omega throws Jungle Boy face first into the turnbuckel, another V Trigger, Tiger Driver 98, 2 count! Omega hits the One Winged Angel adn gets the victory.

Omega goes to hits Jungle Boy with the belt, Christian Cage runs down and attacks Omega to save Jungle Boy. The Hardy family office runs down and attack Christian, Matt Hardy takes down Christian. Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate, Christian reverse into a Killswitch but the Young Bucks hits a double superkick on Christian. Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Christian Cage, the Elite and the Hardy Family Office celebrate over Christian Cage to close the show.
