Shotzi Blackheart & Scarlett Receive Tryouts Before WWE SmackDown

WWE invited Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed to SmackDown last week and RAW this week. Those tryouts continued as they competed on Main Event. Click here to check out Karrion Kross’ Main Event entrance that was panned by fans.

According to Fightful Select, WWE invited more NXT Superstars to SmackDown this week. Scarlett is backstage along with Shotzi Blackheart. They reportedly had plans for them to work dark matches. This is the same thing that WWE did for Kross and Reed prior to SmackDown last week.

Scarlett and Shotzi Blackheart are both backstage at Smackdown tonight, and they were planned to compete in a dark match on the show. We’ll work to find out more notes.

It is interesting that WWE is using this process to try new talent out. We’ll have to see how things work out when everything is said and done. The dark matches for Scarlett and Shotzi were likely not taped for public viewing.

We’ll have to see if Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett are a part of the main roster by the time the WWE Draft rolls around. The company is obviously looking for fresh faces on the main roster an WWE could be planning to make those four additions to the main roster as they carry on with live fans.
