Montez Ford was injured in the storyline and taken off WWE television. This was thanks to a beatdown from Otis. It turns out that the Street Profits tag team member was really needing to go under the knife.

It was not noted exactly what the procedure was, but The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Ford had surgery on June 24th. He will not be out of action for to long, but this did keep him off television for now.

He did get legitimate surgery, a voluntary surgery not related to an injury and not something that should keep him out of action for any significant length of time

Hopefully, Montez Ford can get back to action soon. WWE doesn’t really know what do do with one partner when the other is out of action. So many teams have suffered this fate. We’ll have to see if WWE continues using Angelo Dawkins while Ford if out of action, but he will likely be back very soon.
