WWE released several members of the NXT and 205 Live roster. We keep hearing about more names and now we have two more to add.
It has been confirmed by PW Insider that Curt Stallion and Arturo Ruas have been released. Stallion was a featured performer on 205 Live, but Ruas hadn’t been seen since the Raw Underground segments last year.
Stallion and Ruas join a growing list of released Superstars including Killian Dain, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Ever Rise, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, August Grey, and writer Kenice Mobley. As of this writing, WWE has not released any “main roster” Superstars, but there are a few people under 90-day non-compete clauses.
More names could be on the chopping block as well. Many Superstars are likely very nervous right now.
Since Stallion and Ruas were not on the main roster it’s likely they only have 30-day non-compete clauses to deal with. This is a tragic situation as the company continues trimming people to create a smaller bottom line for talent.
