WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle is undoubtedly one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever graced the squared circle. He had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches.
Kurt Angle would end his career at WrestleMania 35 where he lost to Baron Corbin in a match that was critically panned by fans and pro wrestlers alike. Even Angle was displeased with the match.
While Angle has faced the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer, it seems there are still a couple of matches Angle wished he could have faced before retirement. While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Kurt Angle talked about his dream matches.
Kurt Angle stated that while Dolph Ziggler was certainly high on his list of dream matches, he was not at the very top. That belonged to Daniel Bryan and WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart.
“I always wanted to work with Dolph. From the beginning when I came back to WWE, he was on my radar. The kid is such a special talent, he can do just about anything and I think that his size really helps him. He’s a little bit smaller, so he’s able to do a lot more. But I’ve always loved his work. I’ve been a big fan of him since he started and I would have loved to have a match with him. He wasn’t my dream match per se: Daniel Bryan was, or Bret Hart,
Kurt Angle had tried numerous times to have a match against both Daniel Bryan and Bret Hart, but it never came to fruition. We certainly wonder if Angle will decide to come out of retirement just to face Daniel Bryan one day.
