WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself being a commentator in WWE and delivering some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling.
One of the most infamous incidents in pro wrestling history is undoubtedly the Curtain Call incident, which changed the pro wrestling industry in many ways. Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Triple H hugged in the ring when they were rivals, effectively killing kayfabe and shocking many fans.
While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross talked about the Curtain Call incident and criticized Vince McMahon for letting it happen despite knowing about it in advance. He stated Vince McMahon should take a lot of the blame for the incident.
“They are so indebted to each other and such great friends, I wonder how often they talk now? My point is, was it really that big of a deal? Or was it just for them to show their defiance and that they could do what they wanted when they wanted because of who they were. You have to blame Vince for a lot of it because he let a lot of that s–t slip by.”
Triple H was ultimately the one who was punished for the Curtain Call as they couldn’t punished the rest. It would take Triple H a long time until he clawed his way back to the top of the company.
