WWE locked down a new trademark on a name and some are under the impression that it belongs to former AEW star Bea Priestley.
A new report from Heel By Nature says that WWE has trademarked the name Blair Davenport. This is for use in entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions and performances of a professional wrestler.
The filing was entered into the trademark office on 5/5 and officially entered into the database on 5/8. As of this writing, it’s unknown exactly how WWE will use this new name, but there are some strong theories out there.
WWE and Bea Priestley were reportedly in talks. She left STARDOM and reportedly found herself in a serious discussion with WWE. During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez spoke briefly about this new trademark filing. He expressed a belief that it might be Bea’s new moniker.
First off, I would not be surprised if that’s Bea Priestly. I don’t know that for sure, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Bea Priestley is reportedly in talks to join WWE’s NXT UK brand. She could be a standout star in that brand, but that might also see her make a main roster debut eventually. Priestley was under AEW contract, but they released her during the pandemic when she was unable to make it back from the UK.
