Kenny Omega Says Andrade Isn’t Worthy Enough to Challenge Him

Kenny Omega is currently the AAA Mega Champion, Impact Wrestling Champion and also the AEW World Champion. He has been booked as one of the best champions in recent memory and his high work rate speaks for itself.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches against the likes of Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito in NJPW and is regarded as one of the NJPW champions in recent memory.

Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo made his AEW debut a couple of weeks ago and on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, he made his intentions clear as Andrade stated that he wants to come after both the TNT Championship and AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

AEW on TNT took to Twitter and uploaded a post featuring what Andrade said, tagging both Kenny Omega and Miro. Kenny Omega decided to reply to the tweet as he stated that Andrade’s stats aren’t anywhere near as good for him to challenge Omega for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

Andrade has yet to make his in-ring debut in AEW, but that is likely to be done soon enough. We will have to see who his first opponent will be and if Andrade El Idolo will challenge Kenny Omega for the title eventually.
