Brock Lesnar left WWE after WrestleMania 36, but his merchandise stuck around on the WWE Shop for a few more months. He reappeared on the WWE roster page, but his merchandise has yet to return. That won’t stop some people from thinking that the Beast Incarnate is getting ready for a comeback.
Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE creative was told that the company is not even in discussions with Lesnar. The rumor mill is still churning in overtime despite that clear indication that he is not coming back.
Fightful Select has backtracked on their orginal report a bit concerning WWE’s progress in bringing back Brock Lesnar. They are now reporting that even those in WWE’s promotional department have not been told to get anything ready for Brock Lesnar.
In speaking with people in different departments of WWE, many have expected a Lesnar return, but have not been prepped to ready any promotional materials for said return.
There might be an expectation that Brock Lesnar will return, but there have been no concrete signs that would point to that as a fact. He is still likely up in Canada with his family, waiting for Vince McMahon to back another money truck up to his home. That has yet to happen.
Brock Lesnar’s deals are generally kept very close to the vest. Only a select few people know what’s really going on. At this time it seems that Lesnar and WWE are pretty far apart on coming to a new deal.
