Damian Priest Out Of Action With Injury

Damian Priest partnered up with Bad Bunny for the past few months, which culminated in a tag team match, where they faced off against The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37.

After WrestleMania 37, Damian Priest squared off against The Miz in the infamous zombie lumberjack match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

Damian Priest has not been seen on WWE television for the past few weeks, which led many to believe the the company has no interest in him. However, that’s not actually the case.

According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, Damian Priest is currently dealing with a back injury, which is why he’s on the shelf in order to recover.

Meltzer: “Bad back, right?”

Alvarez: “Is that what it is?”

Meltzer: “He’s injured, yeah.”

Alvarez: “Well he had the bad back at WrestleMania actually.”

Meltzer: “Yeah he worked the match, but it was still a bad back.”

It was originally planned to have Bad Bunny face off against The Miz due to Priest’s injury. While he was able to work at WrestleMania 37 and after that, he is now taking time off to tend to his injury. We will have to see when Damian Priest will make his WWE return.
