Artist Behind Nikki Cross’ New Superhero Gimmick Reveals Concept Art

Nikki Cross debuted a new superhero gimmick this week on RAW and that brought plenty of attention. She didn’t come up with that design all by herself, even though the gimmick was her idea.

Cross was elated by the response that her new gimmick received. She wants to blossom like a butterfly with her new character. Months ago, she enlisted in the help of artist Rob Downie to help her out. After Cross debuted her new gimmick, Downie revealed concept art of Nikki Cross’ new gimmick along with a note about how happy he was to bring that concept to life.

We’ll have to see what Nikki Cross is able to do with that new character. She is certainly able to fly a lot more and that cape helps pull off a great look in mid-air.

It took a few months for that Superhero idea to come together. Thankfully, it got past all of the approval stages and finally made its way onto television this week, making a fresh start for Nikki Cross’ career.
