Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion.

Drew McIntyre has been involved in the WWE Championship picture for a long time now. In his latest attempt at the title, he challenged Bobby Lashley in hopes of winning the title at the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

However, it did not quite go the way Drew McIntyre wanted as he would go on to lose the match against Lashley. As a result, McIntyre can never challenge for the WWE Championship as long as Lashley is the champion.

After the conclusion of the pay-per-view, Drew McIntyre took to Twitter and uploaded a few photos, showing off brutal wounds from his war with Bobby Lashley.

It’s been a wild ride. I’ve always wanted to make all of you proud, and I hoped that you would get the chance to see me live and in person as WWE Champion. Looks like that dream is on hold for awhile. Thanks for all your support. #HIAC

With Drew McIntyre being unable to win the WWE Championship again, we will have to wait and see what the company has in store for McIntyre. Fans would certainly be glad that he isn’t in the WWE Title picture anymore.
