Charlotte Flair is undeniably one of the top female WWE Superstars in the company and has competed in many historic matches throughout her career. On top of that, she has won a WWE Women’s Title 13 times so far.
Charlotte Flair has been largely criticized for getting undeserved title opportunities and title runs that should have gone to other more-deserving WWE Superstars. This continues to draw the ire of fans as she gets thrust into every conceivable title picture imaginable.
However, it seems that takes it toll on Charlotte Flair as well. While speaking to Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, Charlotte Flair talked about always being in the title picture. Flair acknowledged that fans are frustrated at this and then added that she is always under a lot of pressure from constantly being in the title picture.
“The women’s division is much smaller than the men’s division, and I realize I’m constantly in the title picture. That pressure lives with me. I’m never in a side story where I can be relaxed. The women are constantly fighting for time, storylines, and equality. Being placed in positions that are always featured, I always feel that pressure and it never goes away.”
Charlotte Flair is set to challenge Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women’s Championship at the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view this Sunday. We will have to see whether Flair becomes the new champion or not.
