WWE has given Roman Reigns a huge push since his SummerSlam return last year. He is primed and ready to take on his next challenger after dispatching of Rey Mysterio before Hell in a Cell even started. Now the company has locked down one of his nicknames to make sure everyone acknowledges Roman Reigns.

According to Heel By Nature, WWE registered a trademark for Head Of The Table on June 15th. It was later entered into the official database, thus making the filing official.

It is very interesting that WWE waited so long to throw down this trademark. Roman Reign has been calling himself the Head of the Table for a while. Now WWE can officially license that phrase on merchandise.

The merchandise that they can now slap Head of the Table includes a ton of items, but none of them are part of any table settling. Napkins, cups, plates, and silverware might be coming, but for now they are sticking to apparel like shirts, jackets, ties, shoes, and headwear.

We’ll have to see if WWE amps up their usage for Head of the Table. This is something that they have been using heavily in the past few months, but now the company officially owns the phrase.
