Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are set to do battle at Hell in a Cell. That match just happened at WrestleMania with Logan Paul in the mix, but it was far from the first time the old friends battled in the squared circle. Those two have been punishing each other for well over a decade.
During his appearance on Talking Smack, Adam Pearce spoke about Zayn’s upcoming match against Kevin Owens. He told fans that he believes we will finally see a resolution to the longstanding feud between the two. The two will do battle this Sunday, and Pearce said that they’ve been obsessed with each other for about 15 years as well.
“I look at this from a longer perspective. I’ve known both Kevin and Sami for upwards of 15 years. You might say they’ve been obsessed with each other for that duration. I think the WWE Universe wants to see a resolution, and I think they’re going to get one on Sunday.”
There was a time when fans chanted “fight forever” at Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. That was a turn of phrase at the time, but it also turned into years of battling each other in the squared circle. We’ll have to see what happens at Hell in a Cell, but WWE Official Adam Pearce is confident that Zayn and Owens will leave it all in the ring.
What’s your take on what Adam Pearce said about Owens and Zayn? Will we ever see them battle again? Sound off in the comments!
