WWE Snubs Billy Gun On New DX Merchandise

WWE inducted DX into their Hall of Fame and Billy Gunn was a part of the ceremony. That also gave Triple H an opportunity to call AEW a “pissant company” to Billy Gunn’s face. That love for the leader of the Gunn Club is no longer coming from WWE.

The company is cashing in on a bit of nostalgia as they dropped a new DX t-shirt. The new lime green shirt features members of the legendary stable, but Billy Gunn is noticeably absent.

This is interesting because Chyna was left out of DX merchandise for years. Now another member has been nixed while the 9th Wonder of the World is included once again.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Billy Gunn’s absence is a sign of “just how it has to be these days.” Obviously, WWE could have put Billy Gunn on that t-shirt, but they decided against the idea. It will probably still generate a fair amount of sales.

We’ll have to see if Billy Gunn and WWE patch things up at this point. It doesn’t appear that the two sides are getting any closer. Right now it also appears that Billy Gunn is having a great time with AEW.
