WWE Set Up Trial Match For Karrion Kross Before SmackDown

WWE is looking for some new Superstars they can call to freshen up Raw and SmackDown. Karrion Kross was spotted backstage with Scarlett, but he wasn’t alone. It was later confirmed that Bronson Reed is back stage as well.

According to PW Insider, the NXT Champion and NXT North American Champion are both backstage because the company wants to see what they can do in the ring. They have arranged a trial match before SmackDown’s tapings start tonight.

You can add WWE NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed to Karrion Kross and Scarlett as all being backstage at tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown taping.

This is a dark match that likely won’t be seen by fans. It is interesting that WWE wanted to see how Kross and Reed look on the main roster right now, especially since they are both title holders in NXT.
