WWE Making Plans For ‘Yoda Character’ In NXT

WWE NXT has a few interesting storylines going at once, and Xia Li’s angle is certainly receiving a focus. Xia Li and Boa are bound to service a 1,000 Year Old Woman, but that situation is still shrouded in mystery.

The 1,000 Year Old Woman is played by Karen Q. She is still recovering from an injury that she suffered, but she’s on the mend and will be ready for action eventually. In the meantime, WWE NXT placed her in this role where she has become incredibly useful.

It was reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s plan is to create an “aged Yoda character.” There are plans for Karen Q to wrestle, but in a much heavier martial arts style.

We will have to see how soon Karen Q can recover and get back to action. In the meantime, WWE has made great use of her and now it is a waiting game to see where the black and gold brand will go next with their current ancient martial arts angle.
