WWE surprised fans and Superstars alike when it was announced that Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio’s Hell in a Cell match is happening on SmackDown instead of Hell in a Cell. This is thanks to WWE’s ever changing plans.

Click here for the latest on WWE’s actual reasoning for making this big Hell in a Cell change. Also, USA Network is not happy that Fox is getting a Hell in a Cell match right now.

According to Fightful Select, WWE pitched the idea of replacing Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio’s Hell in a Cell match with Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn. That seemed to be the plan for a bit, but then they changed that around.

The plan to change Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio’s match was made on Thursday. As of Friday morning, Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn isn’t taking place in that punishing structure either. We will have to see what they end up booking for this weekend’s pay-per-view event.
