Omos Almost Went Blind After Brain Tumor

Omos is one of the mainstays of Monday Night RAW and is one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions as well, along with AJ Styles. The two would win the titles back at WrestleMania 37 after defeating The New Day in dominant fashion.

It seems Omos (real name Jordan Omogbehin) had a lot of struggles before making his way into the world of professional wrestling, which included a very serious medical emergency.

According to an article from The Athletic, it was revealed that Omos was almost blinded in college due to a tumor on his pituitary gland. Due to this he needed two separate brain surgeries to clear the tumor up.

Omos then talked about him teaming up with AJ Styles, where he stated that it is the best thing that could have happened to his wrestling career.

Me being paired with AJ Styles is the best thing that could ever happen for my career. The best thing. That’s the best I can put it. The best thing. He’s been like a big brother to me. I just listen to him and absorb.

The RAW Tag Team Champions were in action on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as part of a six-man tag match. It is not known whether they will be defending their titles at WWE Hell In A Cell or not.
